Hello

A Bit About Me

My name is Grace Franko. I am a 3rd year, Doctorate of Occupational Therapy (OTD) student at Washington University's Program in Occupational Therapy. I am a passionate supporter of young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), and this shines through in my occupational therapy experience, graduate research, and capstone project highlighted in this online portfolio.

Professional Mission & Vision
I am seeking a doctoral degree to open doors to opportunities to be a leader in the field of occupational therapy, both at the clinical and administrative levels. In my career, I hope to be respected as a sincere and intentional individual who, as a professional, encourages collaboration and trust. I would like my capstone project and future experiences to help me to shed light on the essential and specific role occupational therapists can play on transition programming teams, in the transition process, and in a young adult’s success.
